Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Sanctum mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Service

Sanctum is an educational and entertainment application that provides:

• Tarot card readings and interpretations
• Daily horoscope insights
• Goddess devotion and practice tracking
• Educational content about tarot, mythology, and cultural traditions

The App is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice, therapy, or medical treatment.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the App, you must create an account with an email address. Your account enables features such as data synchronization across devices and preference preservation.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer or modify the App
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Exploit any application features or subscription mechanisms
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the App's operation or servers

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 App Content

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, icons, images, interpretations, goddess information, and tarot card designs, is the property of Sanctum or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (practice completions, configurations, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content to you.

5.3 Goddess and Mythological Content

Information about goddesses, deities, and mythological figures is presented for educational and entertainment purposes. These are public domain historical and cultural references.

6. Third-Party Content Enhancement

The App may use third-party services for content quality enhancement and text processing. By using the App, you acknowledge:

• Enhanced content is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only
• Content should not be taken as professional, medical, legal, or therapeutic advice
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any content
• No personal or identifiable user information is shared with third-party content services

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional subscription plans for premium features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and automatically renew unless canceled.

All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. Sanctum does not directly process any payment information.

To cancel a subscription, you must do so through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after notice is provided.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

SANCTUM IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. ALL CONTENT IN THE APP IS FOR EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. CONSULT APPROPRIATE PROFESSIONALS FOR MEDICAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, OR THERAPEUTIC ADVICE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SANCTUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR ANY IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

ALL CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TAROT INTERPRETATIONS, GODDESS DESCRIPTIONS, RITUAL INFORMATION, DEVOTIONAL PRACTICES, AND MYTHOLOGICAL REFERENCES, IS PRESENTED STRICTLY FOR EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES. SUCH CONTENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE GUIDANCE, ADVICE, OR RECOMMENDATION FOR ANY ACTION. YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU SHALL NOT RELY ON ANY CONTENT IN THE APP AS A BASIS FOR ANY DECISION OR ACTION.

BY USING THE APP, YOU ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ACTIONS YOU TAKE BASED ON OR INSPIRED BY THE APP'S CONTENT. IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO ACCEPT THIS RESPONSIBILITY, YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE OF THE APP IMMEDIATELY. SANCTUM DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM YOUR INTERPRETATION OR APPLICATION OF THE APP'S CONTENT.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sanctum and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sanctum is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

This arbitration provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable law, including for consumers in the European Economic Area who retain the right to bring claims in their local courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
